About Us - Nightcliff Sports Club

Nightcliff Sports Bar is a local sports club and bar in the Darwin area that hosts special events, has a lawn bowling green out back, and is the perfect place to watch a sports game, have a few drinks and enjoy some freshly prepared food. Whether you enjoy watching local or national footy action, wish to take a break from your work routine or want to have a few drinks on a Friday or Saturday night, we encourage you to drop in and check out the place.

Nightcliff Sports Club, winner of the Best Overall Small Club AHA (NT), offers two bars, TAB, NT Keno, pool tables, a 45 machine gaming room and Ratatouille’s Bistro. With over 15 screens dedicated to displaying SKY channel and FOX Sport throughout the venue, Nightcliff was awarded the Best Sporting Entertainment Venue in 2014. The club boasts two all-weather lawn bowls greens, which are available for use all year round to bowlers from all over Australia. There is also a shaded BBQ area with bar facilities available. Contact the club to discuss your next function or try a social bowls event.

Nightcliff Sports Club is open to members and guests and offers memberships for only $11 per person and $5 for seniors. Be rewarded with our loyalty program, where members have the chance to win every time they visit the club. There are also weekly member badge draws as well as regular meat and seafood raffles. So come on down and enjoy the award-winning Nightcliff Sports Club.

Membership

While you are welcome to visit the Nightcliff Sports Club when we are open for regular service, there are special events that you can only attend if you are a member. Also, we have member discounts on food and drinks.

Nightcliff Sports Club membership covers a full year from date of sign up. Affiliate club members and regular customers are encouraged to obtain a membership, as it comes with several perks.


Membership application forms can be downloaded here or picked up from the club. Please note that intending members must be proposed and seconded by two financially current members. If you do not know anyone who is a member of the club, we encourage you to visit regularly and strike up a friendship with members who would be happy to sponsor you.

Visitors are welcome to use the club up to three times in a year when signed in by a current member. The current membership fee is $11.00 for full membership and $5.00 for pensioners and concession card holders.
